The wind and air pressure were both challenging this evening, but at least, unlike last week, the wind direction seemed fairly consistent. This allowed four out of the six to improve upon their 2010 previous best CFCTT 15km (i.e., last week's time), and five out of thirteen to improve upon their fastest previous speed in a 2010 10km or 15km CFCTT. Surely Marilyn Stuart would have improved as well were it not for the fact that she added a handicap or two. Hey, the air pressure, wind speed, her older age and hybrid bicycle were not challenging enough, so Marilyn rode with her brake rubbing the whole way, and let her shoelace get tangled around her pedal. It is fantastic that she still managed more than 25km/h. Her shoelace is destroyed, but Marilyn looked none the worse for the extra effort.
